About Coreen
Born on the island of Kauai, the Hawaiian Islands have always been my home. As a child, I was taught to appreciate the beauty and spirit of the islands and its people. Since then, Hawaii has become more than just the place I live, but it has really become my life.
I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus and I’ve continued to live a lifestyle of growth and development. Having worked as a chemist at an internationally, renown manufacturing company, I decided to begin the pursuit of my entrepreneurial dreams just last year. Needless to say, life has really been exciting! I’ve discovered new talents and skills that I never thought I’d ever do! But I’ve also made new friends who have become like family to me.
But my greatest achievements don’t only stop at my career. Absolutely the best, the greatest, most inspiring experience I’ve ever had in my life was becoming a mother of two wonderful boys who always encourage me to be my best. You know, being a parent is really an awesome deal! My children always seem to bring out the smiles in me – funny how kids can always do that for you.
Anyway, let’s wrap this up by saying that my favorite activities are going to the beach, talking with people and reading. Not necessarily in that order, but I always make sure that I have an opportunity to do all of them. I also love to eat at different places. Just for the record for those of you that know me, I do know how to cook. But I love to eat out and because of that I always know where to go to get the best grinds (which means “food” local style)!
